F2 Expressive Arts and Design
Jungle Music
While Writer George had been on a trip the rainforest we thought about and compared our environment with the jungle environment.
George had such a great time in the jungle that we thought it would be nice to make some jungle music to remind him of his time there. We thought about the different noises he would hear and chose instruments to represent each sound. We took it in turns to conduct our compositions. They were great! |

Clay Modelling
Our class mouse Pop had got so dirty during his time in F2 this year that he had to go to Miss O’Sullivan’s house to be cleaned up. Aleyna made her own ‘Pop’ out of clay so that we wouldn’t miss him too much while he was gone. What fantastic detail!
Beanstalk
After reading Jack and the Beanstalk we made a huge beanstalk with Mrs Deane on the workstation. We thought about what we could use and decided on tubes for the stalk and leaves made with card and different textures. We put the beanstalk up in our reading area and thought about what we might see at the top if we climbed it!

Tinker Art
On the workstation we have been creating our own pictures of the three pigs using a variety of materials and our mini mes. We call this tinker art and it gives us the opportunity to use materials to create pictures. We love it!
Our Stage
Outside we have been enjoying our stage. We use it to tell stories, sing songs and create shows. Our friends enjoy watching our performances because we are so creative! |
