World Book Day - March 5th 2015
Year 3 had a great day at the Nottingham Central Library on World Book Day, enjoying a range of exciting activities linked to books.
We joined 2 other year 3 classes from city schools, were made extremely welcome and had an amazing day. As soon as we removed our coats, every child was given a goody bag with a sketching book, pencils and crayons to use throughout the day. We had an amazing day with a flow of interesting activities and even a free lunch. Guess which characters we dressed up as on World Book Day?

Making Books
We have been reading Pigs Might Fly by Jonathan Emmett this term.
Year 3 enjoyed it so much they made their own books adapting the tale. |
We had pigs skateboarding, surfing, quad biking, in air balloon races and on Ice-skates! The stories are terrific and the photos show the proud children sharing each other’s and our fantastic class display.
